Legal Food Frenzy 2020 Redux

September is Hunger Action Month, which is when food banks and their partners come together to advocate for strong nutrition programs and to raise awareness around food insecurity. This September, we are proud to introduce LFF 2020 Redux — an opportunity for the legal community to continue our partnership with Virginia’s food banks and demonstrate our commitment to ensuring all Virginians have enough to eat.

As food banks across the state prepare for unprecedented levels of hunger through the fall and winter months, we hope you will consider donating to your local food bank.

To make certain we accurately track donations, please be sure to provide your organizational affiliation when making your donation.

The Federation of Virginia Food Banks is the Commonwealth’s largest charitable response to hunger, representing Virginia’s seven Feeding America food banks and 1,500 partner agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. In SFY 2019, the Federation and its member food banks were able to acquire and distribute 120 million pounds of food and grocery items.

The Federation of Virginia Food Banks supports facilities located in Richmond, Fredericksburg, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Tasley, Verona, Lynchburg, Winchester, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Abingdon, and Covington in Virginia. To learn more, visit
